Lands End Trail

San Francisco is a busy city even during a Pandemic 😷.

We stayed outside the city in hopes to avoid an overcrowded atmosphere on a holiday weekend. It was glorious. A short drive over the Golden Gate Bridge and we were just minutes from tackling another beautiful hike!

The Lands End Trail has been on our hiking list since we participated in the first round of the 52HikeChallange.

This hike is along the coast. It has several great viewpoints of the Golden Gate Bridge 🌉 and other places of interest. We loved viewing the bridge and hiking down to the labyrinth at Mile Rock Beach.

Although this trail is rated easy it does have LOTS of stairs so wear good shoes and bring water. We parked near the Legion Of Honor and used the parking lot trail access. Parking was FREE here for 4 hour time blocks. We hiked 4.5 miles and did lots of exploring around the Labyrinth and the Sutro Baths and still had time for a tailgate lunch after. I will note there are no bathrooms along the trail except at the Sutro Baths. So plan accordingly. Have a wonderful time and be sure to tag us when you check it out! @the_curious_crew on Instagram 🎉
