What a fun 🦕 dinosaur hunt we went on a few days ago. We set out for another trail and pulled in to this nature area when we saw the sign. After reading a few reviews on AllTrails we decided to add it to our day.

This trail was a little over a mile and seriously fun. All five of us had a great time looking for the hidden plastic toys along the trail. We probably missed the first few as we didn’t think they would be so small but many of them were ones that would fit in the size of our palm. We had a few of our own dinosaurs in the car that we decided to hide and add to the trail too! Ours were bigger so we hope they were so fun for the next family to find.

The trail rules are that you leave the tiny dinosaurs along the trail. You can hide them in a new spot but be sure to leave them someplace the next visitors can find to keep this fun place just as fun for the next family.

We didn’t have a picnic planned but the trail loop does have river access if you want to bring a blanket to extend your time outside.
