After a few days of skiing we swapped our snow boots for hiking boots and hit the trails in a new-ish location! We have been to this part before but had never hiked the full loop. It would be a wonderful out and back if you want to stay along the water too!

The Sailor Bar Trail is just about 3 miles. Walking along the American River. We saw Salmon, many birds, and deer. It is $5 to park and there are bathrooms near the start of the hike. Since we went right after a night of rain fall we also enjoyed all the puddle jumping one could desire. 🤣
