Sacramento’s home to nature can be found here among a peaceful set of trails along the American River. The Effie Yeaw Nature Center has a building that has live animals, a gift shop, and exhibits to enjoy. (As well as clean bathrooms) #momtip

They also have a bunch of nature related activities and host nature events year round for kids, families, and nature lovers of all ages.

Parking as you pull in is $5 at the gate and if the booth is unattended there is a pay box in the parking lot to the left.
